Veg Momos: Veg Momos; Children’s favorite snack; Can be done at home!

To prepare the dough

Maida – one cup

Ingredients for Momos Filling

Onion – 1 (finely chopped)

Chilli – half (finely chopped)

Carrot – 1 (finely chopped)

Shredded Cabbage – half a cup

Coriander leaves – a handful

Ingredients for Momos Chutney

Dry red chilli – 8

Coriander leaves – handful

Recipe

To make Veg Momos first you need to knead the flour. Add a cup of maida, required amount of salt, oil and required amount of water and knead it well.

After kneading the dough, cover it and keep it covered for 30 minutes.

Next, add oil, finely chopped onion, finely chopped garlic and finely chopped ginger in a pan to fill the momos and saute well.

After the onion changes color, add chopped chillies, grated carrot, grated cabbage, salt, pepper, vinegar, coriander leaves, soy sauce, pepper and stir for a while and then keep aside.

Next take a small ball of the kneaded dough and rub it on the chapati stick.

Add the momos mixture to the dough and shape it to cover it completely.

Place the prepared momos in an idli plate and boil it for 10 minutes.

After boiling for 10 minutes, hot momos are ready

To make this chutney, boil hot water in a vessel and add eight dry chillies.

Next, boil 3 tomatoes in water and remove the skin.

Next, pour required amount of oil in a pan, heat it, then add chopped tomatoes, garlic, ginger, boiled dry chillies, salt and sugar and saute well.

Add this mixture to a mixer and grind it well by adding some coriander leaves.

Delicious momos are ready with momos chutney to match.
